Float respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. As a fintech product, we design our privacy practices to meet or exceed best-in-class standards.
We store and process data exclusively in the United States. Data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard encryption (such as AES-256), and data in transit is protected using TLS.
Card issuing and payment processing are handled by our regulated partners. We do not store full primary account numbers (PANs) on our servers. Our partners are PCI-compliant and employ robust security controls.
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is 100% secure, and we continuously improve our controls.
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
